RAW THE MOVIE

RAW The Movie was a collaborative project with my best mate. Growing up, we had always wanted to create a surf film that stuck to the tradition of ‘surf porn’, big waves and locations that feature the world’s best surfers.

The challenge was to create a narrative for each location featured in the film. To achieve this, we conducted interviews with professional surfers, board shapers and locals enthusiasts to give the audience a snapshot of the day we had.

The result was an action packed feature length surf film that was distributed internationally on DVD and digital download. RAW The Movie was screened in over 20 countries through international surf film festivals and received the award for Best Cinematography at the NYC Surf Film Festival.
